public class Annotator

extends JFrame

 A simple Java editor that supports the easy addition of xml-style tags to
 mark off portions of text.  It displays the tagging via color-coded regions.
 This tool is designed for tagging training data for input to information
 extraction models.
 
 Usage: java edu.stanford.nlp.annotation.Annotator [tagsFileName]
 
 The optional tags file will contain a list of tag names on separate lines,
 and can be created from within Annotator.

Constructor Detail



Annotator
public Annotator(String tagFile,
                 WindowListener listener)

Create an Annotator JFrame.  This can be called programmatically.

Parameters:
tagFile - A filename that contains a list of tags.  This can be 
       null, and then the annotator starts with no 
       predefined tags
listener - A WindowListener for JFrame events (closing, etc.)
       This may be null, and then the default 
       WindowListener is used
