- Tables enabled comparison, but were hard to browse. Their size required frequent scrolling.
Affordances change user behavior
- When bundling by domain: “Don’t want commercial .com hype”. “Get me something real, not this .edu fluff”
Response time
- Changed from forms to Java ? client-side autonomy brought crucial speedup
